Our Charity Partner

In December, we were approached by Serens Wish, a charity based in the Cotswolds, with the aim to help children in the area. They had previously been paying well over the odds for website hosting, and had a self built website, that was a little clunky. Our team, built a brand new, custom built website, hosted on our Wordpress hosting, providing Serens wish a super fast, beautiful website. Paying only £1 per month, a huge reduction from there previous hosting provider.

We pride ourselves, with our hosting platform, and its features. 

DNS is the DNA of any website, much like a massive phone directory, it's job is to translate the domain name, and point it to the right server. Having a very fast DNS is core to making your website load fast. 
Our DNS service is powered by Google Cloud, one of the major 3 players in cloud hosting.

Fast storage is core to a fast website, our web servers use Solid State Disks, known as SSD's. Much like the storage device in your phone, it doesn't have any moving parts, so data can be read almost at the speed of light.

All our hosting servers are protected by a Web Application Firewall, and hosted websites are regularly checked for Malware. 

We scan all websites every day for common malware. Using commercial tools and systems developed in-house, we discover all sorts of nasties. Malware – such as web shells or mail/spam daemons – can compromise your installation, giving criminals access to your site’s data, email and content.

Our websites are behind a firewall, stopping bad actors from accessing your website, before its too late. These measures include DDOS protection, reducing the risk of a DDOS attack affecting your website.

Our email hosting is powered by a dedicated email cluster, taking it away from the core website hosting servers. Most hosting providers host emails on the same servers, which is a bad idea, as this can both reduce deliverability and security of your emails. You can link our emails to your favourite email client, or use our web portal to access them.

Our support team are based in the UK, providing online support for all your hosting needs. We can even make minor changes to your website, through our support ticket system. Additionally, we can make larger website amends, using our support credit system, selling an hour at a time, that can be rolled over.

All our servers are located in the UK, with the exception of our CDN and DNS servers, these are located at strategic locations around the world for faster response times. 
Our servers are all powered by Green Energy, and stored in energy efficant data centres, with great connections to major Internet service providers. 
Our data centres are ISO27001:2013 certified. Their security features include:

Photo ID and swipe card entry
CCTV inside and out
Gated access and secure perimeter fencing
Redundant and uninterruptible power supplies

FAQ

All our hosting is shared, meaning other websites are hosted on the same servers. Clustered hosting, means that no single server hosts websites on our platform, increasing stability, even when your website is busy. 

Clustered Hosting, also means that the actual hardware your website is hosted on, can be customised to fit the application best, such as Database Servers can have more resource, where as storage servers can have more storage space.

Our infrastructure allows you to download a full website back-up when ever you like, in a simple one click download. You can also restore your backup, either with our help, or through a simple upload option. 

Email hosting is available on some plans, but not all. Our email inboxes are 10Gb.

This is not an easy question to answer, and has many dependant factors, including the speed of the connection you are visiting your website from, and the size of your website. We have a suite of tools on our hosting platform, that can be used to optimise the website, increasing load times.

Yes, we can help move your current website, domain and email's to our hosting platform. We will arrange a time and day to make the change. Once everything has been tested on our platform, we will point the domain at our network, or move the domain depending on your preference. 

We try to maintain a 100% uptime, and have been doing so for many years. Using 3rd party tools, such as uptime robot to monitor this. We don't provide an SLA for website uptime, however over the past year, have exceeded 99.99%.
